Our Story

Persimmon & Pine was born from a passion for connecting ideas, along with the people who think and write them, to those who need to read them. Traditional publishing models are dying or dead, relying on big names and tired tropes to drive sales through an increasingly narrow marketplace.

Yet, the number of writers with incredible ideas is only increasing!

We started with one goal: help writers change the world, one idea, one story, and one reader at a time. To do that, we are committed to helping writers pursue their publishing goals, either by helping them get their work to market on their own or by providing a full-service publishing experience for them. And we are working alongside other independent-minded publishers to broaden the reader's access to great ideas by not limiting marketplace reach to one big retailer.

It's a David vs. Goliath situation: will you join the revolution?
